Coach thales was not only a coach but he was an amazing friend. He pushed me so many times where i thgouht i couldnt be pushed. I always felt scoring a goal or have a clean sheet would make me satisfied but that’s wrong thales always taught and told me to be never be satisfied until you win a championship.Ever since I moved to mexico to play I still think about the times thales would keep me under his belt and made sure I would giving my best and not leaving any regrets on the field. Im glad to say that by far thales has been one of the best coaches and role models i’ve had in my life. Thank you coach!!

Yes definitely helped me get motivated! I would prior to our biggest soccer matches Dallas Cup, Regional tournament finals, Nationals etc. your motivational speeches would not only pump up the whole team but fire up everyone to fight & play their hardest. That brought out a little extra in us. Thank you!

My name is Issa Badawiya, and I played for FC Golden State Academy, and later went on to be head captain for Division 1 men’s soccer team UC Riverside. When I was 14 years old Coach Thales became my head coach. And from our very first exchange I felt motivated and inspired. And from then on my whole mentality went to another level. Coach Thales brought out the best in me, and instilled a winning mentality in every aspect of my life. From winning in training sessions, to matches, the classroom, and my health. I truly believe he changed my life and shaped me into the man I am today. I couldn't be more grateful for him just being him and everything he did for me!

When Thales was my coach I remember him always pushing the team to be better. Working with Thales is always a challenge. He’s always charismatic and has the proper attitude in training. obrigado por tudo!! 

Having you as a coach was the best thing that could’ve happened to me both inside and outside the pitch. You taught me to never give up regardless of the obstacle in your way. You taught me how to exceed one’s limit by going above and beyond everyday at practice, at games, after games and how one should recover and rest. You helped me bring out a person that was inside and that I never knew was possible of coming out. You brought out the warrior inside of me. Not only were the best coach but also a great mentor. While being under your wing my soccer IQ began to get better and honestly my whole life began to get better as we kept progressing and one day reaching that #1 Seed in all of Cal South was a blessing and an example of how much hard work paid off in the end
